EMES: Flora June – Peacefully at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton on August 11, 2014 in her 91st year. June was born on Thorah Island to parents Silas Arthur and Isabel Kathleen, predeceased by sister’s Olive, Betty, Eleanor and brother Arthur. Much of her life was dedicated to work at the Banting Institute and the University of Toronto as a medical secretary and St. Mary Magdalene Church Toronto, where she was both the church librarian and enthusiastic helper with the Sunday school. Visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home, 332 Osborne St., (705-426-5777) Beaverton on Tuesday, August 26 at 2 P.M., followed by funeral service at 3 P.M.
