Obituary for Gordon John LIGHTFOOT
LIGHTFOOT: Gordon John - at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Gordon Lightfoot of Beaverton was the beloved husband of the late Brenda Mae (Hales) Lightfoot. Loved father of Laurie Lightfoot (Greg) of Gamebridge, Bonnie Grinsven (Cory) of Brechin, Cindy Gorman (Randy) of Beaverton and Gord Lightfoot (Carole) of Argyle. Grandfather of Larry, Traci, Joshua, Sommer-Lynn, James and David. Great-grandfather of Michael, Trenton, Fynn, Keylon, Mynro, Madison and Shawn. Brother of Violet Warvill (Art) and Betty Lamb both of Beaverton.
Family and friends will be received at Beacan Presbyterian Church, 414 Simcoe Street, Beaverton on Monday June 5, 2017 from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 2 PM. Interment Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton. If so desired, memorial donations, in memory of Gordon, to the Brock Animal Shelter or the Brock Food Bank would be greatly appreciated by the family.
