Linda passed away from this life the early afternoon of September 18th after a courageous battle of lung cancer. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Linda was born in North Bay, raised in Toronto, She was known to be very shy, yet full of life. As a young girl she enjoyed being a choir girl with her church, involved in Girl Guides Until she met the love of her life at the age of 13, of now 54yrs of marriage. She had many of passions the love of her family, friends to traveling to their 2nd love of Acapulco during the winter months, to spending her summers at their summer home on Canal Lake. She loved life to the fullest, enjoyed her garden, being involved with organizing events, hosting dinner parties, she loved to laugh and loved life. She was well loved and respected by everyone that she met along the way.Beloved wife of 54yrs of George and loving mother of Ellen (David Edmondson) and Shirley (Ralph Smith). Devoted Nana of Casey (Zoohir) Brittney (Spencer) and Chazlynn and great granddaughters Layla and Hanna. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Linda survived by her siblings Shirley (late Howard), David and Brenda. Pre-deceased by her parents Percy and Sylvia Fisher (Humphrey) sister Myra Hobbs, and Brian. Service will be held at Stone Church Cemetery Beaverton 1490 Durham Regional Road 15 on Saturday September 30, 2017 at 12:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of life gathering at the Royal Canadian Legion Beaverton, from 1:30pm - 5:30pm In liew of flowers please make donations to Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes Hospice Services. online condolences are welcome at www.manganfuneralhome.com
