Condolence: It was with great sadness (and needless to say shock) that I learned today of the death of my long-time friend and sometime work colleague, Verne, who, unfortunately, I have not been in contact with for more years than I care to remember. Many thanks to Dwayne Atkinson for his persistence in trying to find me (it means a great deal) and for his years of help and kindness to Verne. I deeply regret that I did not get Dwayne's message in time to attend Verne's memorial. My deepest condolences to Verne's family. You are in my thoughts and prayers, big guy.
