I am so sad to hear o George's passing. George & Shirley were wonderful long time non judgemental friends. We had many great times together. I remember one of my first visits to Elliott Lake where they were living at the time. We had a wonderful dinner prepared by Shirley (a fantastic cook). After dinner George said, Lou I have a surprise for you, we are going for a ride. I said where are we going and George said I'm going to take you to see the bears. I thought great, don't get too see to many bears, but hope they don't get too close. As we drove along I noticed a sign that pointed to the dump, guess where we turned, yep to the dump. I said I thought we were going too see the bears and of course George said we will, sure enough the bears were at the dump looking for food, amazing sight and a journey I will always remember. George had a way of creating great memories. Knowing and sharing many great times with George & Shirley was a wonderful experience in life.
Thank you George for your continuing friendship over many years.kin
Thinking of Cindy & Irwin & their families and wish them all the best.
I cherish all the great memories.
