A great man...
It's hard for me to come up with a specific story about George because, for me, what was most memorable was the warmth generated by his presence. I've only met him a few times and, beneath a sometimes gruff exterior, I saw a kind, caring and generous man with great stories. I saw what an amazing grandfather he was to my cousins and a great father to his kids. This Christmas especially, but also consistently in the time I have known them, looking at George and Erwin often seemed like looking through a time machine. I will truly miss George and am thankful that I got to meet him.
